- Candidates with higher marks in biology exam are given a higher rank.
- If the marks of both candidates in biology are the same, then their marks in chemistry exam will be compared. The candidate with the higher marks in chemistry exam is then awarded the higher rank.
- In rare cases, a tie may still continue. The candidate who has provided fewer incorrect NEET answers is awarded the higher rank.
- If they are still tied, the older candidate is given the higher rank.
