Out of 219197 applicants, 229115 registered for All India NEET UG 2022. Only 117316 qualified for the counselling state. UP NEET 2022 Counselling Procedure and Rank List
Candidates seeking admission in MBBS and BDS in UP will first need to register on the official portal of UP NEET 2022 for the counselling stage. Candidates will be required to pay the admissible amount to participate in the counselling process. For Online registration, MBBS and BDS candidates will need to submit scanned copies of the required documents while filling form for counselling. The documents submitted by candidates will be cross verified by the concerned authorities. The merit list will be released by the authorities after completion of the counselling stage.
Maharashtra NEET Merit List 2022, State Quota Rank List
Candidates who are shortlisted in the UP NEET merit list will be invited to the next round. The next round will help the candidates in filling out their choices of colleges and course on the official portal. The candidates will then be finally allocated seats. Their results will be published in pdf format along with seat allocation result. Finally, the shortlisted candidates will receive a provisional seat allocation letter that must be completed for final admission.
Note: Candidates who are shortlisted in the seat allotment stage, will need to lock their seats. Candidates are required to lock their seats in order to ensure they get admission.
UP NEET Merit List 2022 Tie-breaking Procedure
In the NEET exam 2022 lakhs of candidates seeking admission in MBBS and BDS courses had appeared. It is highly possible that in many cases, two or more candidates may have score the same marks. It becomes very difficult to place candidates in the same rank. The board has established rules through which they will finalize the rank of such candidates. Below are the details regarding tie-breaking criteria.
- Candidate with higher biology score will be preferred over other candidate
- If the tie still lasts, then the candidate with higher chemistry scores will be placed above other candidate.
- If the above criteria are not sufficient to choose the preferred candidate, the candidate with the fewest mistakes, negative points and incorrect answers will be chosen with higher rank.
- Even if the tie still does not break then the candidate with the older age will be chosen as the one to be promoted to the better rank than others.
